Chef de Partie required for a private members venue in picturesque Buckinghamshire to join the team of Head Chef and Sous Chef in a busy Club kitchen. The foundation of the Club's catering operation is high quality home cooking provided to members and their guests via the daily menu, the day to day running of this section will be the responsibility of the Chef de Partie. In addition to this, private event business and numerous member events taking place throughout the year provide an opportunity to bring that extra bit of flair and creativity into the menus and you will also be involved with this area of the kitchen operation. The Club has just had its busiest catering year to date and continues to grow.

Role Summary

Reporting to the Head Chef and has the following responsibilities;

• Assist with the of the day to day activities in the kitchen as directed by the Head Chef/ Sous Chef. Taking responsibility for opening and closing the kitchen as required. • Responsible for ensuring that food is produced in a timely and efficient manner and meets the highest standards of quality, taste and presentation as set out in the menu specifications. • Assist, where required, with the effective ordering, portion and stock control, within the guidelines set out by the Head Chef/Sous Chef. • To be aware of and ensure compliance with current health and hygiene regulations. • Play a key role in the implementation and service of the Club menu. The Candidate • Experience in a similar role and/or environment. • Level 2 - Food Safety Certificate is required. • A flexible "can do" attitude is essential. • Desire to learn and expand knowledge is essential
